We brought Ruger home in the Spring of 2020 and had quickly met our match. We were experienced dog owners and felt capable of facing the challenge but boy were we wrong. Jenn came to us at the recommendation of a friend and I’m eternally grateful that we found her!
We were hesitant to board our puppy for weeks at a time and were equally worried we wouldn’t see the bang for the buck. But Jenn came through! Knowing what I know now I wouldn’t have hesitated in the slightest.
Before his time with Jenn in her board and train program, Ruger lacked basic manners and was slightly aggressive. He also had enormous prey drive. Jenn helped us realize that Ruger needs a job and a way to quench his high prey drive. She helped us find both and the dog we retrieved from board and train was a totally different dog than the one we dropped off.
Ruger will be back for refreshers from time to time and will certainly be back for boarding.

Just want to express my thanks and gratitude to Heavenz Paws, Jennifer, Sophie and Emma for taking excellent care and the outstanding training they gave to my puppy Millie!
Wow! Words cannot fully express how happy I am to have found Jenn @ Heavenz Paws. My five-month-old puppy Millie spent a month with Jenn and her family. When I brought Millie to her she was the atypical puppy who had no manners and would jumped on everyone, was constantly biting toes, fingers and any other body part available, chewed and pull on her leash and had an appetite for mulch. For the two months I had her it was an around the clock battle. I sent her to Jenn for a month. When Millie returned home she was a well-mannered pup who listens and behaves around people and other dogs. She walks calmly on the leash, no more chewing on it, sits and stays on command, and my favorite is “outI and leave it” when she is chewing on something she shouldn’t , no more chasing her and putting my fingers in her mouth. I was amazed and so grateful. Jenn’s technique is spot on and has incredible results. Millie will still try my patience, but the beauty is that with the guidance I received from Jenn she will take a correction immediately. I no longer screaming and pulling my hair out ! Thank you Jennifer, Sophie and Emma for training Millie to be such a sweet and well-mannered puppy! Thank you!

Parkland School Shooting Survivor
Maddy Wilford was attending her high school on February 14th 2018. That day became a nightmare for many and especially her. When the former student walked into that school and started shooting everyone he could Maddy was one of them. She was shot multiple times and presumed to be dead until they lifted her arms and she took a breath. She was alive but barely and rushed to the hospital. There she spent a long time undergoing surgeries and recovering. Once released to go home you can only imagine how hard life was about to get for this beautiful teen girl. Tragedy and trauma still consumed their lives. We were contacted and asked if we could donate one of our service dogs to Maddy. We gladly said yes! We were invited to present a dog for her at the famous Guns N Hose's in Jacksonville Florida show to the officer that saved lives on that tragic day and was a huge part in Maddy's life. We took my elite dog Tyka while we decided which one of our dogs would be best for Maddy. Once evaluating them all for her situation Annyah my girl was the best option. She is a female I decided to pick out the litter and raise to become something special. Special is indeed what she became. I raised and trained Annyah for the first year of her life. Yes letting her go at 1 year is not usually how it works but we knew this was the perfect match. More intense training went into Annyah to get her ready to go. I drove her down to South Florida and handed Maddy her new best friend. That day was a great day for many. Annyah became her instant companion and has helped Maddy accomplish so much after that tragic day. She finished high school and moved off to college where Annyah still stays by her side. This is what life is all about. Giving! My heart is full to be able to bless people with a dog that can change their lives.
